This project’s original focus was to construct the second largest pump station in the world, helping New Orleans and the state of Louisiana manage hurricane storm surges and flooding more effectively. Five years after the initial construction, total replacement of all pumps in the PCCP pump station was required. TQF South provided a multitude of inspections and testing for the pump replacement including preconstruction inspection, welding inspections, non-destructive testing, and overall quality control inspection.
